Our Team
My name is Brianna and I am a Registered Nurse with over 10 years of experience as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant and Perinatal Nurse.

I am very passionate and committed to providing individualized feeding support to families coping with any feeding challenges. I work with all feeding difficulties whether it is breastfeeding, chest feeding, bottle feeding or combo feeding.

I will work closely with you and your family to assess learning needs and provide up-to-date education, personalized care plans and effective feeding techniques. We will work together to help make your feeding goals successful by coming up with a plan that works for you.

My special interest is in infant oral function and the impacts on feeding. I completed the Masterclass in Oral Habilitation of the Breastfeeding Dyad in 2023.

Outside of working as a Lactation Consultant and Perinatal Nurse I spend much of my time with my nieces and nephew, as well as enjoying the outdoors hiking and camping, and in the winter months curled up on the couch reading a good book.

Meet Tess
Tess RN, IBCLC
​​My name is Tess and I have been a Registered Nurse for over 10 years and have spent my entire career in neonatal/maternal health including NICU and community health. During my time working with young families and having my own children, I realized how little support families receive regarding infant feeding and how challenging this time can be. I became an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant to be able to provide compassionate, evidence-based care to clients during one of the most challenging but beautiful time in their lives.
I will provide client-centered care while working with you to achieve your feeding goals - whether that be breast/chest feeding, pumping, bottle feeding, or combo. I will work with you and your support system in the learning curve of infant feeding and tailor each consult to meet your family's personal feeding goals.
Outside of work, I am busy keeping up with my two young boys (ages 2 and 3), going to the beach, doing barre classes, and reading for my next book club meeting!

Services
Get a comprehensive feeding evaluation and personalized lactation support in the convenience of your home that lasts for 60-90 minutes. We can help you with all your feeding concerns including breastfeeding, chest feeding, bottle-feeding, pumping, weaning, or starting solids. You will also receive a written care plan. These services may be covered by extended health benefits.
For existing clients, we offer 60-minute follow-up visits that include a written care plan. These services may be covered by extended health benefits.
Get a complete evaluation and assessment with personalized lactation/feeding education, and receive a written care plan. Our location is at 223 Nelsons Crescent Unit 307, New Westminster, conveniently located next to Royal Columbian Hospital.
For existing clients, we offer thorough follow-up sessions that last for 60 minutes. We also provide a written care plan if necessary.
If you have any questions or concerns about breastfeeding or other feeding issues, we would be happy to provide you with a 30-60 minute consultation to address them.
We offer personalized prenatal education on chestfeeding/breastfeeding either in-home or virtually. Our classes cover various topics such as milk production, effective latch and milk transfer, feeding aids, and common breastfeeding challenges like nipple pain, engorgement, and plugged milk ducts. We tailor each class to your specific health history and learning requirements.
*An additional Travel fee is applied for travel more than 25km one way from the New Westminster Office
